ATOPIA is no place. It is literally the non-place which exists only virtually. Just a knot in the net which grants no hold but connects other knots. ATOPIA is nothing more than a weaving loom intertwining heterogeneous strings. There is no preconveived model, the form constantly transforms itself. A polylogue will raise of consonant and dissonant voices amplifying each other. Literature, philosophy, art and politics are meant to infiltrate, inoculate each other and create new constellations. This virtual archipel is hosted by Tokelau, an independent island group in the Pacific. Like Tokelau, ATOPIA will stand on the edge of two days, of day and night. Between bright and dark the difference begins to oscillate, the unknown appears. ATOPIA is the search for this atopos, this uncontrollable difference. Utopia?
ATOPIA ist der Nicht-Ort. Nirgendwo liegt er und dennoch von jedem begehbar. Ein Knoten im Netzwerk, der keinen Halt bietet aber Verknüpfungen schafft. Ein Webstuhl, der Fäden unterschiedlicher Herkunft miteinander verflechtet. Das entstehende Gewebe entspricht nicht von vornherein einem Webmuster, sondern verändert seine Form ständig. Ein mehrstimmiger Polylog soll entstehen, in dem sich Stimmen begleiten, überlagern, widersprechen und vervielfältigen und neue Gesprächskonstellationen ausgelotet werden. Tokelau, eine unabhängige Inselgruppe im Pazifik, stellt die Internet-Plattform zur Verfügung. Als ein Denkarchipel auf der Datumsgrenze, auf der Schwelle zwischen Tag und Nacht, versteht sich auch ATOPIA. Zwischen Tag und Nacht, zwischen Hell und Dunkel beginnt die Differenz zu schillern. Diese Differenz ist atopos, merkwürdig, denkwürdig, ausnahmehaft. ATOPIA ist unterwegs zu diesem Zwischenraum, unterwegs nach Utopia.

ATOPIA est un non-lieu. Il a lieu sans avoir lieu. L'événement se produit sur ce point qu'est le noeud dans la toile. A chaque instant, il crée de nouveaux liens entre tous les fils qu'ils réunit. Les hétérogènes tisserands se retrouvent dans cet espace intermédiaire où le tissu se pare de toujours nouveaux aspects. Un polylogue en quelque sorte, sans préconçus et hiérarchies; littérature, art, philosophie et politique s'infiltrent réciproquement, en ouvrant de nouvelles constellations. Cet archipel virtuel est d'ailleurs accueilli par Tokelau, une constellation d'îlots indépendants dans le Pacifique. Comme celle-ci, ATOPIA veut se situer entre la limite des dates, entre jour et nuit, entre clair et obscur. C'est dans ce clair-obscur que la différence commence à frémir, que l'inattendu apparaît. ATOPIA recherche donc cet atopos, cette différence incontrollable, cette utopie.
ATOPIA: non-luogo. L'aver luogo nel non-luogo. In questo punto, nodo nella rete, si produce l'evento. In ogni istante egli crea nuovi legami tra fili che in lui concorrono. Non vi è trama lineare, preconcetta ma sono le tessiture eterogenee che danno sempre nuove forme alla tela. Molteplici voci che s'incrociano, che si contraddicono e che si sovrappongono: un polilogo. I limiti tra filosofia, arte, letteratura e politica sgretolano in queste infiltrazioni e inoculazioni reciproche. Quest'arcipelago di pensiero è ospitato da Tokelau, una costellazione d'isole indipendenti nel Pacifico. Come essa, ATOPIA vuole sostenersi sul limite tra i giorni, tra giorno e notte, tra bianco e nero. È in questo chiaroscuro che oscilla la differenza e appare l'inaspettato. Avvicinarsi all'atopos, alla differenza incontrollabile, ecco l'utopia di ATOPIA.
ATOPIA es el no sitio. Atopía no se ubica en ningún lugar y es sin embargo un punto de encuentro común. Un nudo en la Red, que no pide paradas, pero que está abierto al razonamiento. Una web formada por hilos de diferentes procedencias, que se entrelazan unos con otros. El origen de este tejido no se corresponde desde un principio fijo, sino que se trata de un ente en constante transformación de sí mismo. Es un políglota con muchas voces, voces consonantes y disonantes, que se acompañan, multiplican y contradicen, y que darán lugar a un nuevo universo conversacional. Tokelau, un archipiélago independiente en medio del Pacífico, pone a disposicion esta plataforma virtual. ATOPIA se entiende como ese "archipiélago de pensamiento" bajo las fronteras del tiempo, en el umbral del día y la noche. Entre el día y la noche, entre la claridad y la oscuridad, empieza a vislumbrarse la diferencia. ATOPIA se encuentra de camino hacia ese espacio, de camino a la utopía.
