[new] Word Kung Fu (Avg. Score: none / Raters: 0) (#5)

I understand qpdoll's comments as grown on a discomfort with somewhat intimidating but nevertheless inspiring lists like Nettime. But indeed discussions there are for the thought masters whose words can break bricks. And of course this excludes many who don't feel that language is their strongest domain. But then there are sound blogs, video blogs, image blogs... And it really would be good if DISCORDIA would encourage contributions not only by language samurais.
But like Brian says, we should not cast the bipolar dichotomy --language versus projects. This would reinforce the widespread idea of the inarticulate artist (as examplifying sufferer, loner, social odd-case) who can't think through her own practice or the world for that matter. There ARE artists who do great work and are articulate about it too.
This format of the blog is great for concurring, discordant ways of articulation.
