[new] what is the next step? (Avg. Score: none / Raters: 0) (#1)

i'm curious, as there seem to be a lot of general protests like this, which typically don't get covered much if at all by mainstream media: what is the effect of protests like this? they seem to typically be regarded by the right/mainstream/etc as a "thorn in the side" from "kids looking for something to protest." do these protests have an effect? if so, what is it, and how can we expand on that? if not, how can we make it into something that does?
