evidently, astrid's story involves gods, goddesses, pagans and leaflets. occasionally the pagans form a governmental body, based somewhere in a meadow in europe. there are also heaths involved. the only heath i've ever met is heath bunting, so maybe he's behind all this.

ok, seriously.. i'll take a guess:
apparently there are some sort of efforts underway in europe to increase the public presence of "God." since astrid refers to the USA, i'm guessing it's comparable to the last 20 years - and or all of US history - of increased "in God we trust", "God bless America", "one nation under God", prayer in school movements, etc... i am not sure if astrid is referring to the Official (legislative) or Unofficial (cultural) increase in this activity though.

anyway, so apparently astrid found a leaflet allegedly from a group called Central something of European something... and the leaflet argued that if "God" gets included, then goddesses, pagan idols, etc. should get included too.

did i get anywhere near it?
