Beadgee, a new net.art piece, works like a software that let's you dismantle and reassemble original drawings and 19th century nursery rhymes.

Beadgge is still in it's infancy, waiting for a story to enfold. So how would you name these empty vassals, waiting to be filled, actively luring one into participation?

Beadgee* is a combination of hangman, a hieroglyphic machine and a data base. Expressing one self through Beadgee is designed to be a playful, straining and addictive process that will hopefully grow into a communal creation.

I am eager to see how it evolves and would like to invite you to have a go and hear about your experience from a "let's build the means for a community and manage to make art as well" perspective.

Your question startled me, Tamar - "let's build the means for a community" - and I have been thinking about the implications of that.
Does that presuppose an existing "community" that needs a means of expression, a gathering point, something else?
Is "building a community" a utopian dream?
Or has the notion of "building a community" been so overused - in many cases misused - that it ought to be discarded altogether?
